Desktop backgrounds?

I can't get any backgrounds on my laptop. Its like when I go to choose one, it won't let me select any. And all my background is blue. I can't change it. Help?|||Assuming you are using windows XP -





Start %26gt; Control Panel %26gt; Display %26gt;





On the Theme Tab under theme %26gt; select Windows XP





This will reset your desktop back to the Default Green Hills. Yuck..





Click Apply.





Go to the Desktop Tab and select a background and click apply and see if it changes. Let me know if it does not.





If you want to use a picture of your own, open the picture and right click on it and then click on "Set as Desktop Background.
