I saw something like this from a video from microsoft and I am interested. I am not talking abou screensavers.|||yes its called dreamscene...........u need to download deskscapes from stardock tho.........then go to personalize and backgrounds........its a nice feature n not much lag|||Vista, being xhtml, will take some time before someone develops this kind of thing for this platform.

ST|||yes you can. if you have vista ultimate then there is this windows ultimate extra called dream scene you can use this to set any video file as your wallpaper. (hence animated wallpaper) you don't need any third party application for this.
if you are talking about animated gif files sure you can set them as your wallpaper just set them as your desktop background.
