How can I use Powerpoint pictures for desktop backgrounds?

press f5 to run the presentation, go the slide you want , press print screen button on your keyboard to copy an image of the screen into the clipboard, then go to MS.paint and go to edit menu and paste. now you can save it as a bmp or jpg or gif file and use it as background picture :)|||Copy the picture

Open image editing program like mspaint( installed with windows)

Paste there and save it as .jpg format

Use that image as your backgound|||right click the picture you like and save as...then replace your desktop picture with the new saved one.|||right click the pic and then set it as a background.|||If you're talking about the presentation backgrounds that come with powerpoint, the easiest thing would be to create a blank presentation using the desired background with the slide size set to match your desktop size (800x600 or whatever). Make sure you delete any text boxes and then Just go File%26gt;Save As give it a name and for the file type save it as a jpg. After that's done you just have to right click on your desktop and set that image as your background.|||Save the image as a JPEG or Bitmap, perhaps on your desktop or in My Docs. Right click the desktop, select properties, select background, then Browse to the file you saved the picture in and select it.|||Absolutely. Save the image to a location such as your desktop and right click the image file and choose 'set as Desktop Background'. If you cannot seem to save the file. You can always take a screen shot using PRINT SCREEN button way above the arrow keys of your keyboard. Then open a program such as MSPaint(Start %26gt;%26gt; Program Files %26gt;%26gt; Accessories %26gt;%26gt; Paint) and use the Edit %26gt;%26gt; Paste function(CTRL+V) .. then save the file and repeat the right click 'set as Desktop Background' method used above.

ALTERNATIVELY you can actually extract images or sound by using the following method.

* Choose File, Save As Web Page

* In the Save As dialog box make sure that the "Save as type:" is set to "Web Page (*.htm, *.html)

* Choose a folder to save to and give the file a name

* Click Save

PowerPoint creates a single HTML file using the name you just specified. It also creates a new folder called [Name]_Files ... for example, if you named the HTML file MyFile, PowerPoint creates a file called MyFile.htm and a folder called MyFile_Files.

Open that folder. There you'll find a whole bunch of files, but among them will be the sounds and original image files from your presentation.|||go into power point look for the folder with the pictures in.. copy them you need to your pictures folder. right click on the desk top. click on setting, click on change back ground.. browse to you pictures folder pick the one you want click ok and there you have it
