For some reason, my computer desktop icon backgrounds do not "blend" with the wallpaper image. It is purely a cosmetic issue, and I have fixed this problem before. I just can not remember how to remove the text background for my icons.|||Here u go..
Right Click My Computer%26gt;
Select Properties and goto Advanced Tab
Under Performance click "Settings"
Here in the Visual Efefects tab choose "Drop shadows for icon labels on desktop" from Custom
Hope this is what u where looking for..
